Field Practice Studies, Self-Efficacy, and Pedagogic Competence Effect on Interest in Teaching Profession to Candidates for Undergraduate Informatics Education at Universitas Negeri Malang

The background problem in this research is that the 2015 Informatics Engineering Study Program students have low interest teaching profession. This study aims to: (1) describe Field Practice Study, self-efficacy, pedagogic competence, and being a teacher; (2) revealing partial effect of competence on becoming teacher undergraduate Education Faculty Engineering, State University Malang; (3) simultaneous influence Studies, profession Education, Malang. method used ex post facto with descriptive correlational design. In study, there are three independent variables, namely Studies (X1), self-efficacy (X2), (X3) one dependent variable, (Y). population sample were class who had carried out Practical (KPL) activities, totaling 80 students. data collection technique questionnaire/questionnaire. results showed: level KPL, high category while was medium category; there’s positive significant between KPL teacher, tcount 2.152 significance value 0.03; 2.053 0.04; (4) 2,314 0.02; (5) There’s an Fcount 7.606 0.000. amount Effective Contribution (EC) variables 23.1 percent
